How we handle your answers
This notice explains what Far West Consulting collects when you take the diagnostic, why, what we do with it, and your rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Canada's federal privacy law.
What we collect
Your name, email, role, and organization if you provide one; the pathway you picked; and your answers to the diagnostic questions — including anything you type in your own words. We also record the date of your submission and the country you submitted from (no IP address stored).
Why we collect it
To generate your report where the diagnostic produces one, to prepare for a follow-up conversation with you, and so Far West Consulting can email you within 48 hours referencing what you said.
What we do with it
- We read your submission. Far West Consulting replies within 48 hours.
- If you book a call and we go on to work together, we use the same answers to prepare your proposal so you're not asked twice.
- We store your answers for 12 months from the submission date, then we delete them.
- We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for marketing, or use it to train AI models.
- We do not share your individual answers with other clients in a way that could re-identify you.
Sub-processors
We use Cloudflare for hosting and database (the database lives on Cloudflare's global edge) and Resend to deliver email. Where the diagnostic generates an instant report, your answers are also processed by Anthropic's Claude model to draft it — your email address is never sent to the model. All three are bound by their own privacy policies; we minimize what they see.
Your rights
PIPEDA gives you the right to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, and to withdraw your consent. We add to that: ask us and we will delete your data, or stop email contact, at any time. Email us at hello@farwest.consulting. We respond within 7 business days.
